MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLET:

Zycolchin Tablet contains Colchicine (0.5mg) an antigout agent used to treat gout and familial Mediterranean fever. It produces its action by blocking the natural substances that are responsible for inflammation such as pain, and swelling. 

USE OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLET (Indication of Dapoxetine):        

It is used in the treatment of gout and familial Mediterranean fever.

ZYCOLCHIN TABLET BENEFITS:

Gout:

It is a common type of arthritis. It occurs due to the accumulation of urate crystals in your joints that cause inflammation and pain. This usually occurs at midnight with a burning sensation in your big toe. Symptoms include inflammation, redness, joint pain, 

Familial Mediterranean Fever:

It is an autoinflammatory disorder that occurs in people who are of Mediterranean origin. This is transferred from parents to children. Symptoms include muscle pain, fever, stomach pain, joint pain, and chest pain. 

HOW THE ZYCOLCHIN TABLET WORKS:

Zycolchin Tablet contains Colchicine (0.5mg) that produces its action by inhibiting the natural substance which is responsible for inflammation which causes swelling and pain.

CONTRAINDICATION OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLET:

If you are allergic to Colchicine and its combinations, it is advisable not to consume the medicine.

BREASTFEEDING:

KIDNEY PROBLEM:

HOW TO TAKE A ZYCOLCHIN TABLET:

Colchicine gives better results when you take the medicine with food or without, take the tablet fully, and do not chew or crush the tablet. Take the tablet as per the dose prescribed by the doctor. Do not take extra doses and dosage of the medicine, it may lead to undesired and unwanted effects. 

 

USE OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLET IN ADULTS:

For use of this medicine  Zycolchin in adult patient has to be taken as per the doctors opinion and use the medicine as per the prescribed dose and dosage. For more information check with your doctor for the better advise.

 

USE OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLET IN CHILDREN:

Safety and efficacy were not established in children who are aged below 4.For more information check with your doctor for the better advise.

 

USE OF ZYCOLCHIN TABLETS IN ELDERLY PATIENTS:

Patient medical history has to be analysis/review before taking the Zycolchin,dose adjustment needed for the elderly patients inorder to avoid further complications to the patient and worsening of the health condition of the patient.

 

OTHER GENERAL WARNINGS:

Patients with a history of blood dyscrasis, electrolyte imbalance, rhabdomyolysis, and neuromuscular toxicity. Medicine should be taken with some cautions, not advice to take the medicine without doctors consultation.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Zycolchin Tablet contains Colchicine (0.5mg) an antigout agent used to treat gout and familial Mediterranean fever. It produces its action by blocking the natural substances that are responsible for inflammation such as pain, and swelling. 

Inform the doctor, if you have the following complications earlier,  

If you have a medical history of GI tract disease 

If you have allergic conditions like itching and rashes 

If you are planning to become pregnant or currently under the breastfeed 

If you are suffering from diarrhea, stomach pain, etc

 

DRUG INTERACTION WITH ZYCOLCHIN TABLET

Interaction with the drugs:

Amiodarone will be the effect of Colchicine by P-glycoprotein transporter. 

Atorvastatin and Colchicine either increase the other by pharmacodynamic synergism 

Digoxin and Colchicine either increase the toxicity of the other medicine by unspecified mechanism

Ciprofloxacin will increase the toxicity of colchicine by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzymes. 

 

OVERDOSE

Consume the medicine as per the doctor’s advice and prescribed dose and dosage. Avoid taking any extra dose of medicine then original prescribed dose.Do not overdose for the immediate effect,which leads to undesired effects. If you have taken the overdose/extra dose of the medicine immediately visit the doctor or nearby hospital for medical consultation.

MISSED DOSE

Take the medicine as per the prescription of doctor.

Take only dose and dosage prescribed by the doctor and doctor advice.
Do not take the  missed or forgot dose to adjust the dose,if you missed the dose skip the missed dose continue the regular schedule dose medicine.

Consuming the medicine for two time to compensate the missed or forgot dose should be avoid.

Conditions of Storage:

Store the medicine at 30°c at room temperature.

Keep reaching out to children and pets, to avoid the risk of swallowing.
