MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF IVERSUN TABLET:

Iversun Tablet contains Ivermectin 6mg anti parasitic agent used to treat parasitic infections in your skin, eyes, and intestinal tract. It produces its action by killing the parasites with is responsible for the infection.

USE OF IVERSUN TABLET ( Indication of Ivermectin ) :

It is an anthelmintic drug used in the treatment of parasitic  infection such as intestinal strongyloidiasis and Onchocerciasis. Also used in the other treatments of Head lice, Rosacea

It is also known as a thread worm. It is usually transmitted from the soil to your skin and makes its way to your lungs and intestine, where it gets mature and reproduces. It is a human parasite which is mainly caused by nematode called Strongyloides stercoralis. This parasite commonly found in tropical and subtropical areas. Symptoms include diarrhea, bloating, upper abdominal pain, itchy and red rash, and nausea.

Onchocerciasis:

It is also called river blindness because it mostly breeds in flowing rivers. It is the second leading cause of blindness in the world. It is caused by the parasite called Onchocerca volvulus. It is transmitted by black files to humans. Symptoms include visual impairment, severe itching, low vision, and eye lesions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

HOW THE IVERSUN TABLET WORKS:

Iversun Tablet contain Ivermectin (6mg) is an anti parasitic agent that produces its action by binding with the glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrate nerves and in muscle cells of the worms which leads to paralysis and death.

CONTRAINDICATION OF IVERSUN TABLET:

If you are allergic to ivermectin and its combinations, it is advisable not to consume the  medicine. Do not take medicine if you are allergic to the medicinal compounds of ivermectin. It is contraindicated to use this medicine in patients with a history of asthma because it may worsen their condition

FAQ OF IVERSUN TABLET

* For better results of ivermectin how should be taken with food or without food?

Ivermectin should be taken on an empty stomach for better absorption and better result. Take ivermectin in the gap of 1 hour before the food and 2 hours after the food.

HOW TO TAKE A IVERSUN TABLET:

Ivermectin gives better result when you take the medicine on an empty stomach, take the tablet fully, and do not chew or crush the tablet. Take the tablets as per the dose prescribed by the doctor. Do not take extra doses and dosage of the medicine, it may lead to undesired and unwanted effects.

DRUG INTERACTION WITH IVERSUN TABLET

Following drugs increase the effects of the Ivermectin,

Erdafitinib increase the effect of ivermectin by efflux transporter of P-Glycoprotein

Warfarin increase the effect of Ivermectin and  increase the anti-coagulant effect.

Ritonavir increase the effect of the ivermectin and Increase the level of the blood.

Following drugs decrease the effect of the ivermectin ,

While taking Ivermectin along with the Phenytion,use with caution because phenytion decrease the effect of ivermectin by efflux transporter P-glycoprotein (MDR 1) levels.

When Ivermectin used along with the alcohol,it will increase the levels of blood and result in skin rashes,headaches,numbness,vomiting etc

OVERDOSE :

MISSED DOSE :
