MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF HCQS TABLET:
HCQS Tablet contains Hydroxychloroquine (200mg) an antimalarial and Immunosuppressant agent used to treat malaria, malaria prophylaxis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Β and Systemic lupus erythematosus. It produces its action by killing the organism which is responsible for infection and it also decreases the effect of the immune system in rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
USE OF HCQS TABLET (Indication of Hydroxychloroquine):
It is used in the treatment of malaria, malaria prophylaxis, Rheumatoid arthritis, and Systemic lupus erythematosus.
HCQS TABLET BENEFITS:
Malaria:
It is a parasitic infection usually spread from mosquitoes to humans. It is caused by the Plasmodium parasite. Symptoms include fever, headache, sweating, nausea, vomiting, weakness, and an enlarged liver.
Rheumatoid arthritis:
It is a chronic inflammatory disorder that usually occurs when our immune system attacks our healthy body tissues instead of foreign invaders. Symptoms include fever, dry eyes, chest pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, joint pain and tiredness
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus:

HCQS tablets contain Hydroxychloroquine (200mg) is an antimalarial agent that produces its action by inhibiting the polymerization of heme and it also inhibits the enzymes by interacting with parasitic DNA. For Rheumatoid arthritis and Systemic lupus erythematosus it produces its action by inhibiting the overactivity of the immune system which is responsible for inflammation and joint pain.
CONTRAINDICATION OF HCQS TABLET:
If you are allergic to hydroxychloroquine and its combinations, it is advisable not to consume the medicine. It is contraindicated to use this medicine in patients with a history of liver diseases because it may worsen their condition

HOW TO TAKE A HCQS TABLET:

It produces its action by killing the organism which is responsible for infection and it also decreases the effect of the immune system in rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.

If you have an immunodeficiency disease like the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) /Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
If you have allergic conditions like itching and rashes
If you are planning to become pregnant or currently under the breastfeed
If you are suffering from diarrhea, stomach pain, etc
DRUG INTERACTION WITH HCQS TABLET
Following drugs increases the effect of hydroxychloroquine
Hydroxychloroquine will decrease the effect of the rabies vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism.
Adalimumab and hydroxychloroquine increase the risk of infection.
Amiodarone and hydroxychloroquine increase the QTc intervals
Hydroxychloroquine will increase the effect of cyclosporine by the P-glycoprotein efflux transporter.
Hydroxychloroquine will increase the effect of insulin aspart by increasing the hypoglycaemic risk
Grapefruit may increase the blood levels and effect of hydroxychloroquine which results in irregular heart rate.
OVERDOSE
Consume the medicine as per the doctor’s advice and prescribed dose and dosage. Avoid taking any extra dose of medicine then original prescribed dose.Do not overdose for the immediate effect,which leads to undesired effects. MISSED DOSE
