MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF CIPMOX TABLET:
The Cipmoxtablet contains Amoxicillin (250mg), and Clavulanic acid (125mg) and is a combination of two antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections in the ear, throat, lungs, nose, skin, tonsils, and urinary tract infections. It produces its action by inhibiting the growth of microbes responsible for infections.Â
USE OF CIPMOX TABLET (Indication of Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid):Â Â
Cipmox used in the treatment of some of the bacterial infections like acute sinusitis,bone and joint infection,
lower respiratory tract infections(LRTI), pneumonia, and urinary tract infections(UTI).Â

This infection usually occurs when microbes enter your body and start to multiply which damages the tissue and makes you sick. It is caused by organisms like Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. Symptoms include sweats, fever, chills, diarrhea, headache, and stomach pain.

Inflammation in the kidney occurs due to bacterial infections. It is caused by Staphylococcus and Enterobacter bacteria. Symptoms include pain while urinating, fever, chills, and lower back pain.Â
Urinary tract infections:
Urinary track infection affects urinary system mainly in the parts of kidneys,urinary bladder and urethra.Symptoms include irritation while urinating, tiredness, pain in the penis, wetting the bed, and frequent urination.
Acute sinusitis:
It is a condition where the air-filled cavities around the nasal passages become swollen. Symptoms include congestion, headache, changes in the sense of smell, cough, bad breath, fever, ear pressure, and tiredness.
Bone and joint infections:
It is also referred to as musculoskeletal infection where the infection spreads from skin, muscles to bone. Symptoms include tiredness, fever, swelling, warmth, and joint pain.
Lower respiratory tract infections:
This infection can cause bronchitis, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. It is caused by bacteria called Streptococcus, and Staphylococcus aureus. Symptoms include dry cough, fever, headache, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, wheezing, runny nose and sore throat.Â
Pneumonia:
Inflection that makes one or both lungs swollen by filling the air. Symptoms include chest pain, confusion, cough, tiredness, shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and sweating.
HOW THE CIPMOX TABLET WORKS:
The Cipmoxtablet contains Amoxicillin (250mg), and Clavulanic acid (125mg) is a combination of two antibiotics. Amoxicillin is a penicillin derivative that produces its action by preventing the bacteria from forming a protective covering which is required for the microbes to survive.Â
Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that produces its action by increasing the activity of amoxicillin against the bacteria.Â
CONTRAINDICATION OF CIPMOX TABLET:
If you are allergic to penicillin, and its combinations, it is advisable not to consume the medicine. It is contraindicated to use this medicine in patients with cholestatic jaundice, and liver dysfunctions because it may worsen their condition.

DRUG INTERACTION WITH CIPMOX TABLET
Interaction with the drugs:
Amoxicillin decreases the effect of BCG vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonismÂ
Amoxicillin and acyclovir either increase the toxicity of others by reducing kidney clearanceÂ
Amoxicillin and aspirin either increase the effect of the other by plasma clearance binding competitionÂ
Amoxicillin decreases the effect of estradiol by changing its intestinal flora
Amiloride decreases the effect of amoxicillin by inhibiting its absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.Â
OVERDOSE

MISSED DOSE
