MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF AZEE TABLET:
The Azee tablet contains Azithromycin (1000mg) a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the ear, throat, lungs, nose, skin, tonsils, sexually transmitted diseases, and urinary tract infections. It produces its action by inhibiting the growth of microbes responsible for infections.Â
USE OF AZEE TABLET (Indication of Azithromycin):Â Â
It is used to treat bacterial infections like acute sinusitis, Community-Acquired Pneumonia, Acute bacterial otitis media, Pharyngitis/Tonsilitis, Skin and soft tissue infections, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Gonococcal Urethritis and Cervicitis

Bacterial infections:
This infection usually occurs when microbes enter your body and start to multiply which damages the tissue and makes you sick. It is caused by organisms like Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. Symptoms include sweats, fever, chills, diarrhea, headache, and stomach pain.
Otitis media:
It is also called a middle ear infection. It is caused by Streptococcus pneumonia. Symptoms include loss of balance, ear pain, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, and headache.Â
Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis:

Skin and soft tissue infection:

Urinary tract infections:
This is an infection that occurs in any part of the urinary system which includes the kidneys, urethra, bladder, and urethra. Symptoms include irritation while urinating, tiredness, pain in the penis, wetting the bed, and frequent urination.
Acute sinusitis:
It is a condition where the air-filled cavities around the nasal passages become swollen. Symptoms include congestion, headache, changes in the sense of smell, cough, bad breath, fever, ear pressure, and tiredness.
Lower respiratory tract infections:
This infection can cause bronchitis, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. It is caused by bacteria called Streptococcus, and Staphylococcus aureus. Symptoms include dry cough, fever, headache, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, wheezing, runny nose and sore throat.Â
Pneumonia:
Inflection that makes one or both lungs swollen by filling the air. Symptoms include chest pain, confusion, cough, tiredness, shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and sweating.
Pelvic inflammatory disease:
It is a female reproductive organ infection that is transmitted from the vagina into your uterus, ovaries, or fallopian tube. It is called gonorrhea, or Chlamydia infection. Symptoms include severe pain in the abdomen, nausea, vomiting, fever, and foul vaginal discharge.
Urethritis:
It is a bacterial infection that irritates your urethra. It is caused by bacteria called Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, and Mycoplasma genitalium. Symptoms include irritation while urinating, blood in semen, penis discharge, urge to urinate, and abnormal vaginal discharge.Â
Cervicitis:
It is an inflammation of the cervix. It is caused by sexually transmitted infections, bacterial overgrowth, and allergic reactions. Symptoms include pain during sex, abnormal vaginal discharge, and painful urination.

The Azee tablet contains Azithromycin (1000mg) a macrolide antibiotic that produces its action by inhibiting the growth of microbes by preventing the synthesis of necessary proteins which is required for the bacteria to play an important function.Â
CONTRAINDICATION OF AZEE TABLET:
If you are allergic to azithromycin, and its combinations, it is advisable not to consume the medicine. It is contraindicated to use this medicine in patients with cholestatic jaundice, and liver dysfunctions because it may worsen their condition.

DRUG INTERACTION WITH AZEE TABLET
Interaction with the drugs:
Azithromycin decreases the effect of BCG vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonismÂ
Azithromycin increases the effect of enoxaparin by decreasing its metabolismÂ
Azithromycin will increase the effect of amiodarone by P-glycoprotein efflux transporter
Azithromycin and moxifloxacin increase the QTc intervals
Azithromycin will increase the effect of digoxin by changing its intestinal flora
